There’s Still Time to Unearth a Story!
The MCL Summer Reading Program isn’t over yet! There are still a couple weeks left to read some books!
Kids can track their minutes and submit reading logs in the Children’s Library to win prizes and earn a spot at the VIP Dinosaur Pizza Party at the Summer Reading Program Wrap Up Party on Saturday, August 15.
Adults can fill out Bingo cards and submit them at the Help Desk for a chance to win an exclusive reading reatreat at the Sterling Ridge Resort.
The submission deadline for all ages is Wednesday, August 12.
Celebrate National Make-A-Will Month
This August is National Make-A-Will Month, a nationwide movement to help everyone, regardless of wealth or age, create a plan for the future. By using FreeWill, you can care for your loved ones and, if you choose, help Manchester Community Library continue providing opportunities for learning, connection, and community for generations to come.
Our partner, FreeWill, makes this process completely free and easy to complete in about 20 minutes.

A New Book Club is Getting Graphic
The Getting Graphic Book Club returns for its second meeting on August 19. The group explores stories told through graphic novels and other illustrated formats, offering readers a chance to discover new titles and connect with others interested in visual storytelling.
New participants are encouraged to join, even if they missed the first meeting.
