Young Adult Services

Young Adult Services provides a full range of print and digital resources, including books, magazines, comics, e-books, and audiobooks, suitable for teens from middle school through high school, and engages young adults with specialty programming and resources right in our Loft including a gaming system, board games, and daily self directed activities.

  • Green Mountain Book Award: Initiated in 2005, this is a reader’s-choice award for Vermont students in grades 9-12. The program is intended to encourage high schoolers to become enthusiastic and discriminating readers.
  • YALSA Book and Media Awards for Libraries: Search 4,000+ teen books, audiobooks, and films from book awards and book lists selected by YALSA, the Young Adult Library Services Association.
