Matt’s career in libraries has spanned 15 years and three states, where he has worked in a range of public libraries, from small and rural to large and urban. Matt is a passionate advocate for expanding access to public spaces, building social infrastructure, and creating more opportunities for personal growth and community connection.

Matt received a BA in Philosophy with a minor in film at Binghamton University, and received his Master’s in Information Science from SUNY Albany. He is a husband, father, and dog lover and loves exploring the world through running, biking, and other outdoor activities.

Joining MCL in August 2025, he is excited about exploring Manchester and getting to know the library’s partners and patrons. Matt lives in Arlington with his wife, two boys, and Rhodesian Ridgeback, Bronson.
